Great apartment for a Greek getaway holiday

Room was typically greek - very clean and newly painted. Large double bed. Balcony with lovely views of the harbour. Stavros the owner could not do enough to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. Shady garden with seating and views of the harbour and hills. Walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Amazing!

This is where you want to stay in Kefalonia. The place is amazing! The rooms are wonderful, updated, everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom. We had a room with a view at the bay, it is all you need for a perfect morning. The room was clean, towels changed every day. The garden is beautiful, the host is very helpful and nice. There is a private parking. Very pet friendly ❤️
Location is amazing. You are in the center of Agia Effimia. From there you are close to the most beautiful part of the island: Myrthos beach, Asos, Fiskardo, Melisani cave and so on. When we will visit Kefalonia again, we will definitely stay here. The owner has an adorable girl, Lucy, she's a dog and she loves hugs🥰 I strongly recommend this place. You won't regret it

Absolutely stunning location, private gardens, swimming platform and the most amazing balcony views I’ve seen. Lovely host, clean and comfortable with good shower. Parking available if needed. Short walk to multiple shops, bars and restaurants. Toiletries, towels, juice, bread, jams, tea and coffee all provided.

A gem in Kefalonia

Where to start! Let’s just say that I did not want to leave, the view is just spectacular, I spent hours on the balcony looking out at Agia Effimia bay; mesmerising. The property has ample free parking, a lovely well maintained garden looking into the water and even a walkway leading directly into the sea (no beach, but can lay on big rocks or there are a couple of big cushions and umbrellas). The rooms are well equipped, the forniture is a little dated but we did not care, the view and comfort makes up for it. There is free WiFi, tv, hair dryer and some snacks and water in the fridge. Stavros is an excellent host, very attentive and cares about his guests. He can recommend good traditional restaurants near by. There are also umbrellas that you can borrow free of charge for your beach days. Agia Effimia also is great for quick access to Sami for ferries to Ithaka, Mirtos beach and Assos. It has good restaurants and a lively cocktails bar. I can’t recommend Ballas Apartments highly enough. I wish I could stay longer.

Exceptional

Scored 10 10 This place is simply beautiful, with an incredible sea view from the window. The room is small but cozy, clean, and has a balcony. On the second day, they even changed our towels. Stavros, the host, was very friendly — he checked in to see if we were enjoying our stay and even let us use the grill. He also recommended a restaurant in another town, which we really liked. There’s private parking available, and the location is perfect for exploring the island — especially Mitros Beach. Just a heads-up: in early April, most restaurants are still closed, but we actually enjoyed the peace and the lack of crowds. We definitely recommend this place!
